Education Programme
The
major extraordinary feature of this project is that the whole exhibition
is introduced and accompanied by an "Education Program" for schools
and universities.
Educational
aims and concepts for use with the schools and universities during the
exhibition period are already being worked out in advance. Learners
and university students will be handed for free a book to the exhibition
so that they can find their own way in to 20th century art.
The complimentary
workbook is available for all the elementary school and junior high
school students, and for participants for Gallery Cruises scheduled
during the exhibition period.

Conversation
with Art, on Art. From Bauhaus to Contemporary Art.
ABC of the Daimler Art Collection.
A Work Book for Learners and Students in Japan.
Englisch and Japanese, 200 pages, 60 colour ill.
Fuso Corporation
will provide shuttle buses to transport school and university students
to the exhibition.
Trainee programs will be available for museum employees and teachers
in the exhibition's fit-up and get-out phases.

Simple questions
in the workbook will provide some hints for approaching the works. It
has three sections designed for three different audience groups. Level
A targets lower grades of elementary school. Level B is for higher grades
of elementary school, and level C targets groups from junior high school
students to adults. A glossary at the end of the workbook provides background
information for studying the works exhibited.
